Water

Mt Frome’s water supply is a highlight of the property. There is a Bore with a licence for 117 million litres per annum. 

The bore will run constantly at 6.25l/sec (my estimate drillers report says 15l/sec) and when used in conjunction with the dam pumps can deliver 20l/sec to the vineyard. This means that if required the irrigation can deliver nearly 150l to every vine on the property in 2 days.

There is also a 25 million litre catchment /bore filled dam, that is fully licensed for irrigation

The bore water quality is excellent with salt levels below 300ppm. 

The property has a small freehold river frontage for access to irrigation, from the river (if ever required) and to the bore.

The vineyard is approximately 20Ha (including headlands, subject to survey). The vineyard is well managed and approximate areas are as follows.
