12 acres about 1 mile East of Loudonville, Ohio. We are within a 50 mile radius of 10 wineries. Loudonville is a tourist town, consisting of numerous campgrounds, canoe facilities, miniature golt, hiking in Mohican Forest, and craft shops. We are about 35 minutes from Amish country in Berlin, Ohio. There is a good market for wine here. One of the craft shops already carries Ohio wine, as does the local IGA. We are a small town of 3,000, but there is great potential here. We have 7 acres planted to wine grapes. They are Leon Millot, Diamond, Elvira, Cayuga, Niagra, and Catawba. There are six small rows of Concord for the Amish. They pick them for jam and juice. The winery building is approximately 62 x 34. As you can see in the attached photo, it is sided with shake shingles. We have sold our grapes to local wineries in the past. The basement of the winery sits into the hill, making the temperature constant for storing wine. Please call or e-mail if you have any questions. |
