Located in the gently rolling hills of unspoiled Siskiyou County, Black Oak Vineyard features 8.5 total acres with 3.5 acres in vineyard. Total annual grape production is approximately five tons and there is room for expansion. The varieties include Merlot, Chardonnay and many more. Presently some of the grapes are sold and the rest used for the owner’s private wine production.
A small orchard borders the vineyard with an array of fruit trees, many of which are antique varieties. Enjoy strawberries, boysenberries and asparagus picked fresh from the garden. There is room for horses and outbuildings suitable for stables. A large detached shop provides ample storage and space for winemaking and other projects.
The home is a comfortable 2000 square feet surrounded with beautiful, mature landscaping. It features an oak and granite kitchen, great room with woodstove and large deck with fabulous views of Mt. Shasta. There is a downstairs garage, family room and office that looks out to the vineyard. |
