Adjacent to the popular Alpha Domus Winery and up the road from the highly recognised Sileni Estates Winery and Restaurant is this quality vineyard and just 10km from Hastings, New Zealand's city of flowers.
Plantings include 3.57ha Sauvignon Blanc (1988/92) and a further 1.54ha planted 2007, 5.88ha Merlot (1995/2003), 3.06ha Chardonnay (1988), 2.11ha Malbec (1995) and 1.28ha Cabernet Sauvignon (1995).
Shedding comprises a large (121.90 m²) lockable implement shed/workshop staff amenities shed with a mezzanine floor.
The vineyard is fully irrigated from 2 bores (1 x 200mm, 1 x 150mm) by micro sprinkler and the Resource Consent provides for up to 3,680 m³ over any 7 day period.
Frost protection is provided by 3 strategically located wind machines (motorised) which are aided by 70 diesel orchard heaters.
Soils include the free draining Class 39 Takapau Sandy Loam, Class 20 Ngatarawa Sandy Loam and Class 32 Poporangi Sandy Loams.
Included in the sale is an extensive range of plant and machinery, which will ensure that on takeover the vineyard is fully operational. The majority of the pruning has already been completed.
A supply agreement is available with a reputable winery for up to five vintages. |
