what is your favorite wine and cheese combo?

I am learning about wine and i would love to throw a wine and cheese party but i am curious to what wines go with what cheeses.. any ideas?

One of my personal favorites is Irish Cahill Porter Cheddar paired with Pinot Noir. Just started becoming very interested in cheese/wine combinations myself. I have been looking for a cheese that would go with Petite Sirah. Does anyone have a favorite to pair this this type of wine?
